Susan Kartman joined Seedorff Masonry in 1980 and has served in a variety of positions that have allowed her to become extensively familiar with the masonry industry and all aspects of our corporate operations.  With her 25 plus years of experience she has developed a close involvement in the overall operations of the company.

In 1986 she was promoted to Treasurer and her responsibilities increased to include functions directly related to the financial aspects of the company along with management of the employee benefit plans.  In 1993 Susan was elected Vice President/Treasurer and began managing the Accounting Department and directing the financial division of SMI.  One year later she was elected Executive Vice President/Treasurer in 1994.

Susan’s current involvement in the industry includes serving on the IA Builders Retirement Plan Board as Chairwoman, and participation on the IA Trowel Trades Health & Welfare Fund Board.

Prior to joining Seedorff Masonry, Inc., Susan was employed by the Starmont School District.  Susan’s past experience and knowledge of the overall company enable her to provide valuable input towards the establishment of near term and long range goals for SMI along with quality service to both our customers and employees.
