| Tom Banse
joined Seedorff Masonry in 1970 after receiving his Bachelor of Arts
degree from The University of Iowa.
Throughout college, Tom gained construction experience working
for Seedorff Masonry in the field during the breaks and summer months.
He was able to apply the knowledge from his field experience
when he accepted an estimating position with Seedorff Masonry
following his graduation from college.
Tom was promoted to Vice President
in 1984 after multiple years of experience as an estimator/project
manager. His
responsibilities have grown to include monitoring backlog, project
selection and review of the bidding process, working with budgets and
several other supervisory duties within the estimating department.
He is also the Corporate EEO Officer.
Following
formal training, Tom was a member of the team that developed
Seedorff’s TQM process that was rolled out in 1993.
Known as an exceptional mentor, he supports the corporate
initiative of employee growth and advancement.
His current involvement in training new estimators and as one
of the instructors for Seedorff University have allowed Tom to share
his vast years of masonry experience and knowledge with our next
generation of leaders.
