Team Update: November 12, 2020

COVID-19 Guideline Revisions in Nebraska and Iowa
Effective yesterday, Gov. Pete Ricketts (NE) and Gov. Kim Reynolds (IA) released new restrictions to slow the spread of the coronavirus in their respective states. A one-page summary for each state is included here:
Nebraska – outline of changes to directed health measures
Iowa – summary of enhanced public health measures
The situation continues to be very fluid and we’re monitoring local, state, and national recommendations to ensure the health and safety of our team. This includes the impact in the workplace and at home, as education responds to the current uptick in COVID cases through a temporary move toward virtual learning. In addition, a limited number of central Iowa and Nebraska jobsites have proposed a mandate for “face coverings on site at all times.” As we better understand the impact of those requirements, we’re proactively purchasing additional PPE to ensure compliance.
2020 has been a long year. “Pandemic fatigue” can tempt us to become complacent and let our guard down. Thank you for continuing follow our protocol in the workplace (and at home) to slow the spread:
Although the frequency of our communications regarding COVID-19 has decreased, please be assured that we are continually monitoring the situation and making course corrections to protect our team and limit the effect on our operations.
We know that Fall and Winter are traditional cold and flu seasons. If you’re sick, PLEASE STAY HOME.
As always, feel free to reach out to your direct supervisor with questions. Be safe!
