Daily Update: March 22, 2020

The week ahead:
Construction as an “essential” business
In states and metropolitan areas that have issued stay at home or shelter in place orders to slow or stop the spread of COVID-19, governmental leaders have identified construction as an “essential” business and work may continue as we ensure social distancing to the fullest extent possible.
Reporting for Work
COVID-19 is uncharted territory with no clear cut answers. We have taken steps to ensure the safety and health of our team members and we continue to explore additional options to further protect our people on jobsites and in support roles.
Every essential business walks a fine line and we are no exception. We’re moving forward with the well-being of our team as our top priority, while also attempting to maintain full employment and paychecks for our team members and their families.
We will continue to work as we are safely able. However, if you are not comfortable working in the current COVID-19 environment, you are not required to report to work. States have relaxed a number of restrictions on unemployment benefits. If you choose to not work, please give your immediate supervisor as much notice as possible and we will assist you in applying for benefits.
