At AWS & SMI our team is changing the face of business, national defense, education, and medical research as we Build Better. But in the midst of a COVID-19 pandemic, what is even more impressive, is the dedication and commitment of our team to protect our health and well-being, continue to make progress on our projects, and lead by example.
Washington, D.C. has created an enormous stimulus plan that, although well-intentioned, has issues that create temptation to do the wrong thing based on unintentional opportunity. In time, these issues will be resolved.
In the meantime, it’s Good Friday and although we are living and working in challenging times, we know that it could certainly be worse. The sacrifice and contribution that we make today will be even more important tomorrow. To each and every one of our AWS/SMI team members in the field, shop, yard, office, and support positions – THANK YOU for knowing what we have to do – and doing it!
Stay tuned for further updates. As always, feel free to reach out to your direct supervisor with questions. Be safe!
