What You’ll Do
- Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair for fleet construction/rental equipment and basic facility systems.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues; adjust/repair components to return equipment to safe operating condition.
- Complete inspections and document repairs/PMs; communicate findings and parts needs with the team.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul equipment and tools including (but not limited to):
- rough terrain forklifts / telehandlers
- skid loaders
- mixers / small engines
- saws and handheld tools
- pallet movers and jobsite accessories
- power washers
- semi tractors/trailers
- pickup trucks/trailers
- Perform general shop/facility maintenance as needed (examples may include basic electrical, lighting, doors, plumbing, minor HVAC coordination, and preventative upkeep).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area; follow lockout/tagout, PPE, and other safety procedures.
Who You Are
- Committed to supporting the team with a positive, can-do attitude
- Safety-minded with a reliable work record and strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time-management skills; able to prioritize work orders and PM schedules
- Ability to read and work from manuals, electrical and hydraulic schematics, and basic diagrams
- Comfortable performing general facility maintenance (basic electrical/lighting, plumbing, doors, and minor repairs); knowing when to escalate to outside vendors
- CDL not required, but a plus
