We BelieveWe believe the key to continuous improvement is prevention, not detection. Continuing education plays a key role in ensuring that all participants in the construction process, from design through execution and facility start-up, have the proper information with which to make decisions.
Through a cooperative effort with industry organizations such as the Masonry Institute of Iowa, Master Builders of Iowa, AGC of America and the Brick Industry Association we have developed seminars, presentations and panel discussions to heighten awareness and elevate the quality of information available to Owners, Architects, GC’s, Suppliers and Service Providers. Closer to home, we’ve also developed in-house educational programs that provide a variety of opportunities for continuing education within our own ranks. Seedorff University is a comprehensive initiative to promote personal and professional development within our ranks, and create extraordinary opportunity for our team members. |
Seedorff University |
Seedorff University is a continuing education effort that consists of curriculum offerings inside as well as outside the ranks of Seedorff. While the vast majority of classes have been developed in-house and are taught by SMI team members, some course offerings are outsourced or include purchased instructional materials. The intent of Seedorff University is two-fold. First, we are attempting to expand the knowledge and skills of our individual team members in support of continuous improvement, both personally and professionally. And second, we are equipping our team members to reach their full potential and expand their scope of available opportunity.
