TD Ameritrade Park
Omaha, NE
TD Ameritrade Park in Omaha, Nebraska serves as home to the NCAA Men's College World Series. It replaced the previous Johnny Rosenblatt Stadium, which hosted the College World Series since 1950. In addition, the ballpark is home to Creighton University baseball and Omaha Nighthawks football.
The stadium can accommodate as many as 35,000 spectators, including luxury and club seating. With four entrances, fans can enter and depart from any direction. It features a brick veneer rising 32 feet from the ground on the exterior that matches the aesthetic of the surrounding downtown Omaha structures. SMI was brought on to install the CMU, modular brick, and cast stone for the project, and took on the challenges brought on by a tough winter and wet spring. Project Details Architect HDR, Inc.
